I purchased "Scenes for Teens" for my niece who is 17. She was so excited to receive this as a gift. The scenes are very well written and entertaining as well. We had a lot of fun reading through some of the scenes together. Not only are they great for teens, but the adults enjoyed them, too, and each one has a special fun and inspirational or educational message. Prior to now, there has been nothing like this geared toward teens, so it is definitely filling a need, and since it is written by a very experienced and versatile actor, we know the scenes are actually good tools for the trade. Love it!
I bought this for a friend's teenage daughter, and it has given her a good starting point in acting. The format is clear and easy to follow. There is some fun, light-hearted comedy material, and then there are also some weightier scenes which will give teenagers something a good deal more serious to think about. Particular standouts are the scenes "Rehab" and "Adopted." All in all, thee's a very good variety, and it's a book I'd recomend for young actors.

My boys are both interested in their school's drama clubs, and this book has been an extremely useful tool for helping them practice. If you have a child, family member, or friend interested in acting, this book is a must have!

A well written workbook for teens, and the adults who want to help them. Absolutely great for aspiring young actors. The scenes are varied, developed and are practical exercises that teens can use.
This book has been an excellent tool for my son who has recently started acting and joined his drama class. We practice scenes at times when he isn't utilizing it himself and it has also been great for his social skills. Definitely recommend
