This book is far different than what I imagined, and it was exactly what I needed to further broaden my understanding of Mixed Reality Design.I thoroughly enjoy how the author captured and explained the envisioning process for Holograms through varied examples and approaches. From this book I have further embedded my ability to envision holograms in empty spaceswith my imagination. Additionally, I've acquired a series of techniques and design processes for how I plan out my ideas, and share them with others for direction/feedback.Please do read this book whilst working on Mixed Reality projects, it'll allow you to fully open yourself to a new perspective of design and development.

I was hoping for a better experience perhaps leading to building or buying a Mixed Reality game for my grandchildren. After having another topic drop out and not be published after waiting a year before this might have set things in motion. I haven't finished it yet. Does that make the point? Maybe not. Maybe I was looking for philosophy and not an application.

An excellent framework for understanding how we will interact in a Mixed reality landscape in the future.

This book is a true gem and a must-have for any AR/VR/MR developers out there! While there are several mixed reality developer books available focused on coding and software development, this book stands out by offering a unique perspective into the DESIGN and envisioning phases of mixed reality development. As an experienced HoloLens developer - I was amazed at the countless nuggets contained in this book. Whether you're a seasoned MR developer or someone just getting started - I highly recommend this book!

This is a great book and a phenomenal way to introduce yourself to a new way of thinking about software. The piece is approachable to people who are just starting out and also provides some excellent bits of insight to veterans that will influence their creative process (it has certainly affected mine).All it asks from you is a bit of imagination - and after you're done, it won't be long before you start seeing holograms everywhere around you :)

When the Mixed Reality paradigm broke through the zeitgeist, most of us felt that agency and access would be a high-level engineering dream.
